Start: 21.45 UPDATE: OUTDOOR CINEMA BECAUSE OF THE NICE WEATHER
In May we present three film nights in collaboration with Roffa Mon Amour. Out of hundreds we picked three distinctive, talented and great female directors that we are blown away by. They contributed to the cinematic field in their – not only feminine – but very peculiar, outstanding way.

May 15:
THE HEADLESS WOMAN

About 'The Headless Woman':
The comfortable and untroubled life of beautiful middle aged dentist Veronica is disrupted when she runs over something in the road. She initially thinks she just hit a dog and decides to drive on, but over time she grows convinced that it was actually a person. Thinking she may have killed someone her life slowly descends into paranoia and isolation.

About Lucrecia:
The greatest enemy of Argentinian director Lucrecia Martel are romantic comedies. Her work instead focuses on family relations and touches historical topics. There were ten years in between the closure of her Salta Triology – The Headless Woman (2008) – and her latest release Zama (2017) and although she shifted from family to costume drama both are typically Martel vivid feverish masterpieces.
